Attractions on the Isle of Arran

Arran is so often described as “Scotland in Miniature” and it is, indeed, a very detailed and intricate place – but there is also a grandeur and magnificence about the landscape which is absolutely breathtaking. The island captivates. A significant percentage of the population is made up of people who came for a holiday, fell head over heels in love with the place and came back to settle – so be warned!

Here are just a few images of what to expect. You’ll want to take your own pictures of the seven golf courses, the high mountain peaks, the prehistoric standing stones, the castles, the deer, the eagles, the gardens – and of you, your friends and your family enjoying a wonderful holiday to remember, perhaps even including a snap of the picturesque little cottage you are going to retire to when you finally escape the rat race…!
